Nick started his career working in sales and marketing, for a specialist Armoured Vehicle manufacturer before moving into a direct and creative marketing role for a leading over fifties travel and insurance group.
He moved in to recruitment in 2007, working for a niche marketing recruitment agency in London, just before the recession, which proved to be a great learning ground.
Nick's first venture was to set up a new recruitment business with an old MD, before helping an award winning Manchester based digital recruitment agency establish a London footprint.
Nick established RECON Search and Selection in 2014 to offer clients a bespoke recruitment and headhunting service and has built successful relationships with the leading global agencies and smaller specialist boutiques, helping them recruit from MD to Junior Execs.
Outside of work, Nick spends a lot of time training his Cocker Spaniel, Riley.
Jenny joined RECON Search and Selection in 2015, after a career in research.
She is an experienced market researcher, with 15 years of agency experience, working across various methodologies and sectors.
Jenny turned to the dark side and now is responsible for sourcing quality candidates for our clients. Her personal experience of working in the industry and exposure to different agencies both as an employee, supplier and client of research gives her a great perspective for assessing suitable candidates and understanding what roles and companies are likely to require.
Outside of work, Jenny is married and kept exceptionally busy by her 3 lovely daughters and a small menagerie of animals including 3 ponies, 2 dogs, a varying number of chickens and a giant african land snail (at last count).
Riley joined RECON Search and Selection in 2016.
He spends most of his time chasing his ball and the cat, sleeping on the chair and waiting for his next walk or meal.
Riley is training to be a proper gun-dog.
